HOLLANDIA “WHY HOLLANDIA” COMPETITION |
TERMS & CONDITIONS

ORGANISER
This competition is organised by Hollandia Hollandse Producten (“Hollandia”), accessible at www.hollandseproducten.co.za.

ELIGIBILITY
The competition is open to legal residents of South Africa aged 18 years or older.

EXCLUDED PERSONS
Owners, employees of Hollandia, and their immediate family members are not eligible to enter.

COMPETITION PERIOD
The competition opens on Tuesday, 19 May 2026 and closes on Tuesday, 16 June 2026.

Late entries will not be considered.

HOW TO ENTER
To enter the competition, participants must:

  • Post a reel or short video on a public Instagram or Facebook account
  • Share why they shop at Hollandia or which products keep them coming back
  • Tag Hollandia in the post
  • Include the hashtag #WhyHollandia

Alternatively, participants may email their video entry directly to: info@hollandseproducten.co.za

Participants are encouraged to send their entry link to Hollandia via direct message after posting.

Only one entry per person will be considered.

PRIZES
Two winners will each receive a R500 Hollandia voucher/product basket.

Prizes are not transferable and may not be exchanged for cash.

WINNER SELECTION

Winners will be selected by Hollandia based on:

  • Creativity
  • Authenticity
  • Community engagement

The judges’ decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

Winners will be announced on Friday, 19 June 2026.

USE OF CONTENT
By entering the competition, participants grant Hollandia a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, reproduce, publish, adapt, and display submitted content across social media, marketing material, and advertising platforms without further compensation.

DISQUALIFICATION
Hollandia reserves the right to disqualify entries that:

  • Contain offensive or inappropriate content
  • Infringe on third-party rights
  • Violate these Terms & Conditions
  • Include false or misleading information

PERSONAL INFORMATION
By entering, participants consent to the processing of their personal information for purposes related to administering the competition and prize fulfilment.

LIABILITY
Hollandia will not be held liable for any lost, late, incomplete, or misdirected entries, or for any damage or loss arising from participation in the competition or use of the prize, to the extent permitted by South African law.

GOVERNING LAW
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of South Africa.
